The stand is robust and can hold my 38 lb Motif XF7 without collapsing like other keyboard stands, such as ProLine PL-400 Double X-Braced Keyboard Stand. The stand is very ergonomic, I love the EZ-LOK technology. No levers/handles to pull to adjust the stand, which reduces the mechanical parts and essentially the chances of failure. All you need to do is to expand the stand all the way till you hear the first click, and then adjust it to the height desired. The whole process takes less than 5 seconds! The clicks are a bit loud though, but doesn't matter.. Maybe it's an announcement that the keyboard guy is here :D
