It doesn't have all the glowing knows like the newer photon 25X, but it's just as responsive and enjoyable to use. It's perfect for amateur setups, especially for electronic musicians who want to play arpeggio or add a few pads. It has all the knobs you could possibly need. Plug into your USB, and it's ready to use.
**Edit** This now works with Microsoft Vista. You need to go to the Alesis support site, download the drivers and follow the instructions.
