(More customer reviews)I bought this for use with a Korg new SG-1 piano to interface with Band-in-a-Box running on a laptop Windows XP sp3. Bottom line is that it works as expected straight out of the package with the drivers already installed with XP/BIAB.
There is virtually no documentation with the interface, but really not much to know other than the cable MIDI connector labled 'OUT' goes to the MIDI 'IN' port on the piano, and cable 'IN' goes to piano 'OUT'. Get this right and you're good to go (this may be standard MIDI setup, but not necessarily intuitive to non-MIDI savvy users like me).
